I viisted Monet’s house in Giverny the Summer of 2019 while I was temporary teaching a workshop in Paris. Around Monet’s house, there is an old road where the old train rails used to be. They are now a walking nature trail where one can experience the beautiful surroundings. I spent an afternoon painting there and it was a happy moment. I finished two small paintings, this one describes the distance mountains and the yellow fields and some of the path I was standing on. The second painting is called “Giverny countryside August” it has been framed and is available as well. This painting is not framed yet but can be framed by Carrie Carino upon request at an additional cost we can discuss directly.
