This painting was done in the farm of my family, in Colombia. The region is called Paipa, Boyacá and its surroundings are still very traditional and rural. I love going there and paint. In this picture, you can see the Cordillera of Los Andes, the greatest mountain system of South America, that run from Argentina all the way to Colombia. The trees depicted in the images are tall Eucalyptus, very common in the area. Grass is always green for cattle.

This Plein-air painting was done in 2018 while I was visiting my family farm in Colombia. This region is called Paipa in Boyacá and is surrounded by beautiful traditional landscape. The mountains you see in the distance are part of Los Andes Mountain system and the trees are elucalyptus trees that are really common in the area.
